Today is the birth of my blog.  I am Pastor Jamie Morgan of Calvary Assembly of God in Williamstown, NJ, and you are reading my first ever blog entry.

Just like any new parent, I am filled with the promise of what this new life can bring.  So, if my blog had a baby book, this is what I would write.

I want my blog to better connect with people from my church as well those who will never attend.  I want to reach the people of southern New Jersey in addition to those living in the four corners of the world.

I want the blog to be open, transparent, and extremely thought-provoking. I want it to be passionate and intense (because that is how I am) but also fun and light (because that is what I need more of).  I want it to make you laugh, shed some tears, and make you go “hmmmmm….”

Finally, I want my blog to be a paintbrush and paint a really big picture of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  I want to share the story of Calvary Assembly of God and my own personal journey as I serve Him there.

As a parent of a new baby, you can see I have many hopes and dreams for this bundle of joy. Join me as I embark on this new blogging adventure…
